British drama film about a spy who is shot, but the accused refuses to testify. US scientist, Dr. Frank Smith, who is brought to Britain to help the CIA debrief a defecting East block scientist. The communists set Dr. Smith up for murder. The film also features a barrister (Anna Neagle) who tries to defend her client, the US scientist (Anthony Quayle), for killing his bride (Zsa Zsa Gabor), a US spy.
