Episode: Echoes. David learns that Julie has been engaged to work on the Hammond account for several months. Nicholas attempts to give Ann moral justification. From the chairman's chair while Ted is away, David cautions Brian to stop trying to run the firm his own way. Jennifer and Ted enjoy a day sailing. David speculates to Jill that Ann is pushing Brian to assume more power in Hammond now that the firm is growing.
