While shooting “Flying Over the Blue Field” we lived in the Birtonas sanatorium hotel. I was watching the treatment procedures. People were plunging into bubbles, mud and mineral water baths. They were singing in circles, standing under cold water. All this seemed like a sacred ritual, freeing people from the detritus of life. They were naked, like just newborns, without any sign of their place in society. The movie is a silent impression about tired people... "harbour".
