Salto que se realizó el martes 18 de marzo del 2015, en el Boogie Salinas 2015, por los 186 años del Ejército Ecuatoriano. El Crl. Edgar Narváez, idealizador del salto de la paz, una mañana durante el briefing explicó uno de sus objetivos en el aire, con las siguientes palabras: “En 1995 tuvimos una guerra con el Perú, después de la guerra conocí a un soldado, Almirante. Francisco Calisto, que había estado justamente al frente conmigo y era el comandante de esa unidad. En 1998 por primera vez nos hicimos amigos, en el 2001 participamos en un evento de paracaidismo y así en algunos eventos latinoamericanos nos veíamos siempre desde lejos, fue en el 2006 donde recién nos juntamos pero no hablamos nunca de la guerra, en el 2008 estábamos en Salinas y comenzamos a conversar, pero recuerdo que fueron algunos eventos de paracaidismo que se dieron para romper el hielo y en el 2010 en un evento de paracaidismo internacional en Uruguay, nos preguntamos donde estuvimos ubicados precisamente, y él estuvo en ¨Solado Pasto¨ y en yo ¨Twinza¨, con esto le propuse hacer un salto por la paz con nuestras banderas, que sería muy significativo ¨Las guerras son cuestiones políticas, no una respuesta¨. Fue en el 2012 en Pucallpa-Perú que él realizó un evento internacional donde lleve las banderas e hicimos realidad ese sueño, donde dimos un mensaje de paz y hermandad a Ecuador y Perú. Ahora que se cumplían 186 años del Ejército Ecuatoriano, también vimos a los participantes de Rusia y Ucrania y propuse realizar el próximo Salto por la paz, se nos ocurrió poner las banderas de los países y como estaban 15 países pusimos a cada persona representante de su país y hacer una formación de una COPA, La copa de la paz.
