A Trip to Mars (Himmelskibet) is a 1918 Danish science fiction adventure film. It features Gunnar Tolnæs, Zanny Petersen, Nicolai Neiiendam, and Alf Blütecher. Navy captain Avanti Planetaros is inspired by his astronomer father to travel to Mars, where they find a land is inhabited by people who have reached a higher stage of development, free of diseases, sorrow, violence, sexual urges, and the fear of death.
