Supermarket Sweep (S6, Ep 31 - Nov 10th 1998)

Today's contestants are Fiona Mackintosh & Pauline Cordiner from Aberdeenshire, Colin Hinchley & Jo Davis from Derbyshire, and Julia Donovan & Mari Curtis from West Glamorganshire. It feels like a British Isles battle today, with contestants from England, Scotland and Wales, and there is certainly determination in the Mini Sweep where one frantic contestant slam dunks the product in Dale's hands (hey, don't damage Dale's hobnobs!). One team has a firm lead after the quiz rounds, but which of the home nations will triumph in the Super Sweep, and will they claim the big prize in the final? It turns out to be one of the closest finals in Sweep history - well, since the previous episode anyway - but will it be cheers or tears at the end?
