First Bike Reveal Yamaha R6

FINALLY!!! John got a bike and heres the reveal! It was such a coincidence that he happen to get a 2007 Yamaha R6 just like me! So far John has been doing great on this motorcycle. There have been a few close calls, as there are with anyone, but overall he is naturally talented at riding and has far surpassed my abilities when I had only been riding a month. Once John gets a suit I'm sure we'll be neck and neck even though I have a year and a half more experience. Also he BEAT ME on the drag race DDD: partially because he had an amazing launch but also he has -1 front +3 rear gearing. So, much more torque. I thought it would be close because I have a full system akrapovic exhaust but his lunch got me. Once he got in front of me a little I was right behind him, probably due to my additional 10 horsepower in the top end. John's top speed is about 160 mph at redline and mine is 172mph just before redline. Unfortunately my wheelies sucked balls in this video haha. Recently I have been too chicken to get the front tire up all the way and I've been choppy with the throttle. On the contrary I've been hauling some serious ass thought the corners. I've been keeping it in a lower gear and using more engine braking to slow myself before the corner, then twisting hard on the gas while exiting! I was cooking my tires!! I could see rubber built up on the edges. We need to have a track day soon...
