Sparrow is believed to have been involved in a theft of a significant amount of mercury. His future mother-in-law Mrs Riggs is absolutely livid, convinced that Jack is personally out to ruin her girl's wedding. ♾️ It features John Thaw, Dennis Waterman, Diana Dors, and Malcolm McFee. ♾️ The Sweeney is a British television crime drama series, which originally aired from 1974 to 1988. Jack Regan and George Carter are hard-edged detectives in the Flying Squad of London's Metropolitan Police. They pursue villains by methods which are underhanded and often illegal, frequently violent and more often than not, successful.
