Mr McGowan, I think it's wonderful that during these messed up times, you still took the time out to answer a little 9yr Olds letter about the Easter bunny...
Very sweet in times like these
"I know you are very busy at the moment, stopping people from getting sick and looking after everyone in WA. Thank you so much for looking after us, my mum said she likes you as much as she likes Jacinda Arden (my mum is a kiwi).
But I would like to ask you this question, will the Easter bunny be able to come to Western Australia this year? I heard that Mr Morrison has said no one can come into Australia because of COVID-19 and Easter Island is a foreign country. Will the Easter Bunny be able to come to Western Australia this year?
Please out this on the news when you have an answer, I really wish the Easter Bunny can come because I really like Easter and Easter Egg Hunts"

"You've probably noticed that some things have been different for the past few weeks. It won't be like this forever, but for the moment it is hard for people to travel around. So I have a ver special update.
We've been working really hard and I am very happy to announce, I've just signed a special eggs-emption for the Easter Bunny.
This means the Easter Bunny can still come to WA and visit all our friends and family on next weekend (this is from Saturdays paper)
We all know how important that is.
Thank you Taylah for taking the time to write to me because I like Easter and Easter Egg Hunts too.
Happy Easter from me, and as always, make sure you listen to your parents and don't eat too much chocolate"
-Mark McGowan
The official "eggs-emption" signed by Mr McGowan allows the Easter Bunny freedom to travel into and throughout the State "for the essential service of egg delivery"
Apparently the Easter Bilby does NOT require a special exemption as it is native to the region (?!!)
